The gold brushstrokes and block design against the green graduated background on both sides is a beautiful piece of art. The Mai Ougi fans are weighted for Kabuki and traditional Japanese Dancing. Another key point is that a small weight is added to the base, you can spin around effortlessly. The word Mai (舞) means dance and Ougi, means folding fan in Japanese.
