Shugi Bukuro Red Crane Money Envelope
Our Shugi Bukuro Red Crane Money Envelope is used to give a cash gift called Oshugi. Moreover, it is customary to give the bride and groom a cash gift at Japanese weddings. Traditionally, the money is presented in a Shugi-Bukuro (pronounced shoo-gi bukuro). Your name and message is wrote on the envelope so the recipient can see whom the gift is from. You place the envelope inside the shugi-bukuro. We beautifully adorn it with silver and gold mizuhiki cords in a decorative knot. Lastly these envelopes you can use for birthdays and anniversaries too!
