Himeji Castle Japanese Noren Curtain are split curtains used in place of doors as entrances to Japanese shops, doorways, and decorations inside Japanese homes. The Himeji Castle is a famous Japanese landmark dating to 1333. It is sometimes called the “The White Heron Castle”. In 1601 the castle was completely rebuilt and is now a UNESCOÂ World Heritage Sites.
